Soon the Titanic would be under the great Atlantic Ocean, so the crew would have to act fast. I first thought of how they must have felt getting closer by the second to the iceberg. When I was reading this novel I thought that it was pretty interesting that right in the first chapter out of 10 he started the great accident with the iceberg.

All I know is that I get scared pretty easily. As the Titanic was in its final stages of being above the sea, some accounted that the huge ship looked like a gigantic jagged rock sticking out of the water.

There was no moon, but the cloudless sky blazed with stars. In technology, especially, the disaster was a terrible blow. There hearts must have been beating fast from the shivering cold and nervousness from the iceberg. The Atlantic was like polished plate glass; people later said they had never seen it so smooth. On the other hand, a lot of the witnesses turned out to be pretty darn perceptive.
